Dedicated Technical Processes
Your CRM tracks the sale. It was never built to run the technical evaluation, so presales overloads stage fields and keeps the real work in a spreadsheet nobody else can see. Opine gives the technical sale its own stages and its own board, beside the CRM instead of inside it.

Presales gets a workflow of its own
Define the stages your technical sale actually has. Then run every deal through them on a board that leaves your CRM alone.
An org-wide stage library in four groups: prerequisites, execution (your proof-of-value stages), outcomes, and on hold. Compose them into a named process, in your order.

Build the process your sale already has
An org-wide stage library in four groups: prerequisites, execution (your proof-of-value stages), outcomes, and on hold. Compose them into a named process, in your order.
- 02 · One board
Two views of the same pipeline
Every deal is a card. Flip between your CRM's stages and your Opine stages, filter by process, and save the views your teams and territories run on.
- 03 · The move
Advance the deal, not the CRM field
Drag a deal through your technical process. The CRM stage it came with stays exactly where the rep left it.
- 04 · The card
The whole deal opens with it
Notes, tasks, meetings, team requests, product requests, and activity, all on the card. Synced natively with Salesforce and HubSpot.
A stage field was never going to hold the technical sale
Commercial stages answer one question: how close is this to signature. They can't say which success criteria are still open, which environment is blocking the pilot, or how many sales engineer hours the deal has already taken. So the stage picklist gets overloaded, or the real work moves to a spreadsheet nobody else can see. Opine keeps the technical track on the same record as the commercial one. Both are true, and neither writes the other.
Presales stops working around the CRM
The technical sale gets a workspace built for it, and the CRM carries on being the CRM.
Two views, one truth
One board, two switchable views of the same pipeline. The CRM view always shows what the CRM says. Your stages track the technical motion beside it, and neither one writes the other.
Run more than one motion
New business and a renewal don't share a shape. Run a Proof of Value process for one and a Customer Deployment process for the other, each with its own stages, then wire a process to a CRM pipeline so deals route into it on their own. Our team enables additional processes with you today.
The work lives on the deal
Notes, tasks, meetings, and team requests sit on the card, not in a side sheet or somebody's tab. Open a deal and the context is already there.
Your CRM's rules still apply
The sync runs under Salesforce and HubSpot record- and field-level security. What a user can't see in the CRM, they can't see in Opine.

ScopeWhen you say “sales process”, do you mean our normal sales stages or a presales one?
A presales one. You define your own stages and move deals through them on a board, with plans attached. None of it affects your CRM stages, and the CRM view sits right beside it, always showing CRM truth.
vs. the CRMDoes defining our own stages mess with our CRM stages?
No. They're two views of the same deal. Your Opine stages track the technical motion; the CRM's stages track the commercial one. Advancing a deal on your board never writes to the CRM stage field, and the CRM view keeps showing exactly what the CRM says.
Multiple motionsCan we run different processes for renewals and new business, and route deals automatically?
Yes on separate processes, enabled with our team. Teams run a Proof of Value process for new business and a Customer Deployment process for renewals, each with its own stages and its own order. Running more than one process is something our team enables with you today. Routing is automatic when each motion lives on its own CRM pipeline: you wire a pipeline to a process in settings. Routing by a field inside one pipeline, like Salesforce Opportunity Type, is configured with you the same way.
FieldsDoes the board bring our Salesforce fields onto the deal cards?
Yes, and they're editable from here. Key deal details are live CRM fields you can update directly in Opine, and you choose which fields your team sees and which appear on the cards. Writes go through the acting user's credentials, so field-level security holds.
MismatchA deal is Closed Won in Salesforce but shows an old Opine stage. What went wrong?
Nothing. The two tracks are decoupled on purpose. Reps advance CRM stages, your team advances Opine stages, and the board shows both, so a gap between them is visible instead of hidden. Deals whose stage falls outside their process carry a warning indicator.
SecurityOur CRM permissions are strict. Does this open the data up?
No. Your CRM stays the authority. The sync enforces record- and field-level security from Salesforce and HubSpot: what a user can't see in the CRM, they can't see in Opine, and writes go back through their own credentials.
Getting startedDo we have to design the whole process before we get any value?
No. Start with the stages you already run. Most teams write down the four or five stages their evaluations already have and refine from there. Once a deal reaches the pilot stage, an agent drafts a POV plan for the sales engineer to review, so the process starts carrying work rather than just labeling it.
Proven in the field
Technical teams run their own process in Opine, alongside the CRM the rest of the company runs on.
“Opine is the first tool that I’ve seen in my twenty years of sales that truly honors the SE craft. Now, I can do everything from deal management to capacity planning in Opine. It’s a dream.”
