Technical Sales Management

Run the technical sale on its own track.

Your CRM says where a deal stands commercially. It says nothing about which evaluations are live, what's blocking them, or where your specialists are spent. Opine runs that motion alongside it, on stages your team defines.

Trusted by high-performing revenue teams

A CRM opportunity has no room for any of this.

Success criteria that two sides score. A buying team that needs its own view. A security specialist who has to be found and staffed. Fourteen meetings nobody should have to log. Opine holds all of it on the deal, and your reps' record stays exactly as they left it.

Team Requests & Specialist Routing

Route requests to the right specialist and track them through to done.

A request names the skills the deal needs. Routing rules score the team against them and propose the specialist to staff.

Technical Fit Assessments

Score technical fit early so you invest where you can win.

An AI-filled field reads the deal's own context against a fit rubric you configure, so the poor-fit POVs are visible before an SE is spent on them.

FAQ

What SE leaders ask us first.

Whether it fights the CRM, how much the buyer sees, and what your team still has to do by hand.

Have one we didn’t cover? Bring it to the demo →

Is this a second system our team has to keep updated?

No, and that's the point of keeping the two tracks separate. Opine stages track the technical motion; your CRM stages track the commercial one. Advancing a deal on the board never writes your CRM stage field, and the board carries a CRM view of the same pipeline so you can always see CRM truth beside it. Everything else syncs natively with Salesforce and HubSpot.

Can we run a different process for renewals than for new business?

Yes. Separate processes with their own stages, enabled with our team. Teams run a Proof of Value process for new business and a Customer Deployment process for renewals. Running more than one process is something our team enables with you today. Routing is automatic when each motion lives on its own CRM pipeline, which you wire to a process in settings. Routing by a field like Salesforce Opportunity Type inside a single pipeline is configured with you the same way.

How locked down is the buyer portal, and how much do buyers see?

Buyers authenticate, and they see only what's shared. Entry is a magic-link invitation or an access code, never an open URL, and restricted plans enforce an allowlist by email address or domain. Internal-only notes and tasks are hidden from the buyer view automatically, you can preview the portal exactly as a buyer sees it, and revoking access cuts it immediately.

Do our SEs have to log their activity for this to work?

Capture is automatic. Labeling is yours to tune. Every event on a connected Google or Outlook calendar is captured and linked to the right deal, with no approval queue. The labels that sort a demo from a technical deep dive are keyword rules you configure once, so you can see exactly why an event was categorized and sharpen the scheme as you go. Manual logging exists only for work that never hit a calendar.

Can we require a fit assessment before a POV is allowed to start?

You can score fit early and triage on it. You can't yet block on it. You define the rubric, and Opine's AI field fill reads the deal's own context against it, writing the value to the deal with its reasoning so you can filter the pipeline by it. Poor-fit deals are visible before an SE is spent on one. An enforced gate that stops a plan from starting isn't supported today; it's a request we're actively considering.

Every POV we run is different. Are we forced through templates?

No. Templates are a starting point, not a track. Any plan takes one-off criteria alongside library ones, and you can import years of existing criteria from a spreadsheet rather than retyping them. The success criteria library exists so the criteria you reuse stay consistent, not to stop you writing bespoke ones.
